Did pretty well yesterday. Was going to limit myself to only 1 glass of wine, but I should know better. Riesling is TOO good.
I have to say that this vegetarian challenge has turned out to be quite beneficial. It’s made me think about different and new meals to have instead of the usual things I eat. It’s opened up a whole other world. lol. I’m actually having trouble deciding what to eat because things sound so good. I find myself constantly thinking about what meals would be good to have throughout the day. I was trying to follow Cassey’s meal plan, but I didn’t get some of the things on there because she didn’t mention them or put them as optional on the grocery list. So I’m just kind of doing my own thing. I’m surprised how easy eating vegetarian is for me. I don’t really miss meat at all. But I guess when I think about it I really only eat meat for dinner anyways so I guess it’s not that big of a difference. I’m glad I didn’t try vegan though. Eggs and yogurt are too important to me. Plus, I really don’t want to eat too many faux soy products. I’d rather have real milk yogurt instead of a faux product.
My workout kicked my ass today and I loved it. I was literally drenched in sweat. There was not a dry spot on my sports bra. The sweat kept running into my mouth (gross!) and my hair was so sweaty that whenever I did pushups or plank it kept whacking me in my face which stings let me tell you. I love the max workouts so much better than the other ones. There intense but at a slower pace. You still get a crazy workout, but you’re heart rate isn’t at absolute max the entire time.
